His outstanding performance at the Finals underlined a 2005 season highlighted by consistent riding. With career earnings in excess of $1 million and a strong finish at the 2005 Finals, fans can look for Cory to continue to ride the rankest bulls in the world. |
Tate Stratton
Bull Rider
|
2004 National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Champion Bull Rider, Tate Stratton, loves the sport and cowboy lifestyle he lives. Since the early years of dragging his parents up and down the dusty southwestern roads, Tate's sights have been set on Vegas. Building solid form and fundamentals at the junior, open, and high school rodeo ranks in and around New Mexico, to maturing at the college and professional rodeos during his tenure at Western Texas College and Texas A&M, Tate has worked to establish himself as one of the most consistent riders through the years. Since his first calf in 1994, numerous local, state and national titles have come his way, as well as taking top slot at some of the top rodeos throughout the year, like Denver, Greeley, Lewiston, Lawton, and Sikeston.
With a trip to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo barely eluding him on three previous occasions, Tate made his first trip to the WNFR in 2009. Tate placed in 3 rounds in Vegas and had a second place finish in round 3. Tate ended 2009, 9th in the World standings and 7th in Vegas.
Tate gives praise to the Lord above for the ability, strength and blessings allowing him to live the great life before him. |
